Subject: Volunteer in community services in the local municipality

Dear sir,

I am writing this email to express and convey my intention to apply as a volunteer in this pandemic situation due to the existing coronavirus. I like the fact that the Sagarmatha lions club under this municipality is a registered organization that provides social and charitable services to specific sectors in society. I am very interested and eager to help your organization achieve its goals and objectives even in the absence of compensation on my end.

 I want to become a volunteer in your organization because I strongly advocate for free education and awareness programs in this lockdown time. In terms of credentials, I am an engineering student from Kathmandu University and I am currently in my second semester. I will be helping the student to enhance their level of knowledge and education during this lockdown time. I will be giving my time to spread online education to the high school level. my objective is to make this lockdown effective and full of knowledge. Besides this, I will also give my time to aware of the people from social media. I will be making awareness videos and will be uploading in social media which I think will be much effective way to spread the information among the people.
